"The A Game" is an oversize coffee table book that relives great moments in Alabama Football history and showcases the original artwork of Rick Rush, known as America's Sports Artist. The paintings, sketches and images were all created to work harmoniously with individual stories and vignettes that trace those memorable moments from the dawn of Alabama football in 1892 to the SEC championship season of Nick Saban in 2008.

Caleb Pirtle, III, who served as Travel Editor for Southern Living magazine in Birmingham, Alablama for ten years, is the author of fifty two books, including the award-winning "Unending Season", "XIT: The American Cowboy", "Spirit of a Winner" and "Echoes From Forgotten Streets."
